　　I have a happy family. My dad and mom love me so much.

　　there are six people in my family, my mom, my dad, my grandparents, my sister and me.

　　My dad is a boss. He is 39 years old. Hes tall and strong.

　　He is very strict, too. He likes cars. I always goes to car show when he has time. My mom is my dads assistant. She is in charge of the company. She is 34 years old. She is tall, thin and very kind. She likes going shopping and reading books.

　　My grandfather live with us. Hes old, short， and a little bit fat. He loves us very much. He likes listening to the Yue-Opra. My grandmother lives with us, too.

　　She is old, short, thin and very kind, too. She likes planting trees and flowers. My younger sister is only three years old. She isnt a student. She is very lovely. She is in Media Kindergarten. She likes watching TV. I am a student of Grade Six. I study very hard now.

　　I love my family. My family love me, too.

They both work in the same hospital. They work very hard. My sisiter and I are both students. But we study in different schools. Both of us study very hard and do well in our lessons. I love my family. I think it is the happiest one in the world.

　　whatever people may say to the contrary, i have on use for tv. i know there are many people who go along with me, even though they seem to be willing to fall under the spell of the bo every time they turn it on. what a waste of time! let me count the ways tv plays havoc among the members of my family who are all bitten by the tv bug. first, we keep our eyes on the tv screen, forgetting what are in the dishes at suppertime. second, on occasion we quarrel like anything with one another over which program to watch. third, as long term faithful tv viewers we all wear glasses—a sad phenomenon for which we alone are responsible. fourth, sometimes, misdirected by what we see on tv, we lose our sense and go against our parents＇ wishes. these are the things i hold against tv, and there are many others;. in fine, tv does d9isturb the peace of my family and for the sake of my family i really wish my mother could throw away that damned thing wrongly dubbed "the greatest invention of the twentieth century."

　　Hi， boys and girls， I am glad to be your English teacher this year. As you don't know much about me， let me first talk about myself here.

　　On the right you see an age-old picture of my family. Two of them have already passed away-my father and my elder （not the eldest） brother. Both of them died of cancer. My father suffered from liver cancer and was deceased in the year 1978 while my brother was killed by cancer which spread from the underside of his tongue to many other parts of his body. He left us on the 15th of April 1992 at the age of 37.

　　In the photo， the youngest one， sitting on the lap of the woman（my mother） was me. My younger sister was not yet born. My elder sister was seated next to my mother. She was a fat little girl at that time but now she is a middle-aged mother of two children. Her family and my mother are at present living in the U. S. A. My sister owns a Chinese-American restaurant which has been making good profits.

　　My eldest brother is a civil servant right now. He has been doing this job for more than 20 years. He likes this job， I guess. He has a son and a daughter. Both are working now. So， his burden as the breadwinner（one who supports the whole family） has not been so heavy recently. That's whyhe took a trip to Beijing during the last Lunar New Year Holiday.

　　As for me， I am 36， a school teacher and the father of a boy and a girl who are still too young to help me in anything.

　　Many changes have taken place over the last 35 years and things will never be the same again. No matter whether you like your family or not， think about itsome years later they won't be around you anymore. Try your best to love and forgive them. Nobody is perfect. They deserve your love and care because they are your family.
