　　Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge. It has two parts: the tunnel and the bridge, hence the name. The tunnel bridge is 25.5 km long. The tunnel’s length is 8.9 Km, and the bridge’s length is 16.6 Km.

　　It takes 12.7 billion RMB. The tunnel joins the Pudong District and Changxing Island. the bridge joins Changxing island and Chongming island. In bad weather, it’s inconvenient. The tunnel bridge was opened to traffic last year. Now it only takes one hour from Chongming to Pudong District. The tunnel bridge is not only present the new achievement in the construction of Shanghai, but also demonstrates the Shanghai Expo Theme: “Better city, better life!”
